At HyuniStore, we take shipment security, parcel verification, and customer order protection seriously.
We are raising awareness about a potential parcel-label tampering issue in which a shipping label may be removed from one courier bag and attached to another parcel. If such an incident occurs, the tracking number may appear valid even though the physical parcel being delivered may not be the original parcel associated with that shipment.
This can make it difficult to determine whether the correct package was dispatched and delivered.
To help prevent, identify, and investigate such incidents, we are introducing a clear shipment-verification procedure for delivery partners and a step-by-step parcel inspection and complaint procedure for customers.
Our objective is simple: the physical parcel, shipping label, AWB number, barcode, and delivery record should correspond to the same shipment.
1. Understanding the AWB Number and Shipping Label
Every courier shipment is assigned an Air Waybill (AWB) number, also known as a tracking number. The shipping label normally contains this number, a barcode, and other shipment information.
These details help identify and track a shipment throughout the delivery process.
However, seeing a valid tracking number alone does not prove that the physical parcel is the correct one. The label must be checked against the actual parcel, and any suspected mismatch must be documented.
For this reason, HyuniStore requests proper visual verification of the parcel and its shipping label during delivery.
2. Mandatory Delivery Video Proof for Courier Partners
Delivery personnel handling HyuniStore shipments are requested to record clear video evidence during the delivery process, subject to the courier company’s procedures and applicable privacy requirements.
The following steps explain what the video should show.
Step 1: Show the complete physical parcel
Before handing over the shipment, record the actual courier bag or parcel being delivered.
The video should show the package as a whole, including its outer packaging and visible condition.
If the package appears opened, torn, resealed, damaged, or otherwise suspicious, document its condition before completing delivery and report the concern through the courier company’s prescribed procedure.
Step 2: Show the entire shipping label
Bring the camera close enough to capture the complete shipping label clearly.
The label should be attached to the physical parcel being shown. The video should make it possible to see that the label belongs to the package being delivered rather than merely showing a detached label separately.
Do not conceal the label or show it so briefly that the details cannot be checked.
Step 3: Clearly display the complete AWB number
The complete AWB or tracking number must be visible and readable in the video.
Ensure that:
No digits are covered by fingers or packaging.
The number is not blurred or out of focus.
The full number is captured without cutting off either end.
The number can be cross-checked against the shipment’s tracking record.
If the AWB number cannot be read, record it again clearly before proceeding wherever the delivery procedure permits.
Step 4: Show the barcode clearly
The entire barcode printed on the shipping label must be visible.
Avoid glare, motion blur, poor lighting, or camera angles that make the barcode difficult to inspect. Do not cover, damage, or alter the barcode.
The purpose is to preserve a clear visual record of the barcode associated with the parcel.
Step 5: Show the label and parcel together
This is one of the most important steps.
Record a clear view showing the shipping label attached to the actual parcel, with the AWB number and barcode visible.
Showing a label in one shot and an unrelated parcel in another may not establish that the two belong together. The recording should provide a clear visual connection between the package and its label.
Step 6: Record the delivery process
The video should document the parcel being handled and delivered in accordance with the courier company’s procedures.
Where permitted, record the parcel and its label immediately before handover, and retain the corresponding delivery confirmation through the approved system.
Do not record private customer information or the customer unnecessarily. Follow the courier company’s rules on consent, privacy, and evidence retention.
Step 7: Report suspicious discrepancies immediately
If a delivery partner notices a missing label, a label that appears to have been replaced, an unreadable or mismatched AWB, or any other suspicious parcel discrepancy, the partner should stop and report the issue through the courier company’s authorized escalation procedure.
Do not remove or transfer a shipping label from one parcel to another. If relabelling is necessary, it must be carried out only through the courier company’s authorized process, with the appropriate shipment records updated.
Important: Video recording should not replace required identity checks, barcode scans, or official proof-of-delivery procedures.
3. Why Label Swapping Is a Serious Shipment-Security Concern
A courier label links a parcel to its tracking information. If a label is transferred to a different package, the tracking record may not accurately establish the identity of the physical parcel.
This could lead to:
A customer receiving a different parcel from the one intended.
Disputes about which shipment was delivered.
Difficulty tracing the physical package through courier records.
Delays in investigating missing, incorrect, or potentially tampered shipments.
Financial losses for the customer, seller, or other parties involved.
These are potential consequences, not proof that any particular delivery partner has committed misconduct. Each reported incident must be examined using the available evidence.
HyuniStore requests cooperation from all delivery partners to help maintain transparency and shipment accountability.
4. Customer Instructions: What to Do When Your Parcel Arrives
Customers can also help preserve important evidence by following these steps when receiving a HyuniStore order.
Step 1: Inspect the outer package
Before opening the parcel, check the packaging for signs of damage or tampering, including:
Torn or cut packaging.
Unusual resealing or excessive tape.
A damaged or partially removed shipping label.
A label that appears pasted over another label.
A package that seems inconsistent with the shipment details.
These signs do not automatically prove fraud, but they should be documented if something appears unusual.
Step 2: Photograph the shipping label
Take clear photographs of the entire shipping label before opening the parcel.
Make sure the photos show the AWB number, barcode, and available shipment details. Keep the original images for reference.
Avoid publicly posting personal addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive information from the label.
Step 3: Record the parcel’s condition
Take photographs or video of any visible damage, suspicious tape, altered labels, or other irregularities.
If you suspect that the label has been replaced, preserve the packaging and contact HyuniStore as soon as possible.
Step 4: Record a continuous unboxing video
For complaints involving damage, missing items, or incorrect products, HyuniStore requires clear unboxing evidence under its published complaint procedure.
To make the evidence useful:
Start recording before opening the package.
Show the complete, unopened parcel.
Show the shipping label, AWB number, and barcode clearly.
Show all visible sides of the package and its condition.
Open the parcel while the recording continues.
Show the contents as they are first revealed.
Display all received products and relevant packaging.
Clearly show any missing, incorrect, or damaged items.
Continue recording without stopping, cutting, editing, or rearranging the sequence.
A continuous recording helps establish the condition of the package before opening and the contents found inside.
Please ensure the recording is clear, well-lit, and sufficiently close to show the relevant details.
Step 5: Preserve the parcel and its packaging
If the parcel is incorrect, damaged, or suspicious, do not discard the outer bag, shipping label, barcode, tape, or inner packaging.
Keep the products and packaging in their received condition until the issue has been reviewed. Do not alter or repair suspected tampering before documenting it.
Step 6: Contact HyuniStore support
Provide the following information when reporting an issue:
Your HyuniStore order ID.
Your full name as provided with the order.
The AWB or courier tracking number.
A short description of the problem.
Clear photographs of the parcel and shipping label.
The original, unedited unboxing video, where relevant.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information publicly in comments. Share order details and evidence privately through the appropriate support channel.
5. Mandatory Unboxing Proof for Product Complaints
For complaints involving damaged products, missing items, or incorrect products, a clear, continuous 360-degree unboxing video is required under HyuniStore’s published complaint procedure.
The recording must:
Be continuous, without cuts or edits.
Show the unopened package and its outer condition.
Clearly display the shipping label and parcel.
Show the opening process from beginning to end.
Show the received contents and the reported issue clearly.
Be submitted in a format that can be viewed and assessed.
A video that is unclear, incomplete, edited, or does not show the relevant package and opening process may be insufficient to verify the complaint.
Please keep the original video file rather than submitting only selected clips or screenshots.
Important distinction: An unboxing video documents what was inside the parcel when opened. It does not, by itself, conclusively establish who caused a shipment discrepancy. HyuniStore may need to review the label, tracking information, courier records, photographs, and other available evidence.
6. Complaint Reporting Deadline and Review Procedure
To allow timely investigation, customers should report complaints concerning an order as soon as possible after delivery.
Under HyuniStore’s published complaint procedure:
Complaints regarding an order delivered from our warehouse must be reported within 1–2 days of delivery.
For damage, missing-item, or wrong-product complaints, the required unboxing video must be submitted within 7 hours of delivery.
The complaint should include the order ID, tracking details, and relevant evidence.
Please contact support immediately if you suspect parcel-label tampering or receive a package that appears to belong to another shipment.
When a complaint is received, the available information can be reviewed to determine what further evidence or escalation may be needed. If courier-related discrepancies are suspected, HyuniStore may raise the issue with the concerned courier company.
Late or incomplete complaints may be difficult to investigate and may fall outside the published complaint procedure. Customers should contact support promptly if an exceptional circumstance prevents them from meeting the stated deadline.
7. Refunds, Exchanges, and Courier-Related Issues
HyuniStore’s published store policy states that sales are final and that refunds and exchanges are generally not offered.
However, a suspected courier-label mismatch, wrong-parcel delivery, or shipment-handling incident should be documented and reviewed on its own facts. Customers should report such incidents promptly instead of assuming that a tracking status alone resolves the issue.
A report is not automatically proof of courier misconduct, and a video requirement should not be treated as proof that a customer or courier is at fault.
Applicable consumer rights and legal obligations may also affect how a complaint must be handled. Nothing in this notice is intended to remove any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Lost, Damaged, or Mismatched Parcels
If a shipment is lost, arrives damaged, or appears inconsistent with the tracking information, HyuniStore may need to review:
The order details and dispatch record.
The AWB and tracking history.
Photographs of the package and shipping label.
The customer’s unboxing evidence, where relevant.
Delivery confirmation and available courier records.
Any delivery video or investigation findings provided by the courier.
Where evidence indicates a possible shipment-handling issue, the incident may be documented and escalated to the concerned courier company.
Customers should retain all relevant evidence until the matter has been reviewed.
9. Our Commitment to Shipment Security
HyuniStore believes that responsible shipment handling requires cooperation between online sellers, courier companies, delivery personnel, and customers.
We request all delivery partners to handle parcels carefully, follow authorized shipping procedures, and report suspected tampering or discrepancies without delay.
We also encourage customers to inspect their parcels, preserve their shipping labels, record unboxing videos where required, and report any concerns promptly.
Our aim is to make shipment discrepancies easier to identify, document, and investigate.
Every parcel matters. Every AWB matters. Every delivery deserves proper verification.
Thank you for helping us maintain greater transparency and accountability throughout the delivery process.
