Later Shipping Payment: International Shipping + Customs + Domestic Shipping
For pre-order products, you pay for the product when placing your order. The shipping-related payment is collected later, when your order reaches the shipping stage.
The later payment covers:
International Shipping + 🛃 Applicable Customs + 🇮🇳 Domestic Shipping
There are no separate surprise charges for these three components after the shipping payment is completed.
What Do You Pay First?
When you place a pre-order with HyuniStore, the amount shown at checkout is for the product.
Your product is then sourced from the supplier and processed as part of the relevant pre-order batch.
The shipping-related amount is not collected at this stage because the final shipping cost depends on the actual shipment and batch.
Why Is Shipping Paid Later?
Many of our pre-order products are sourced from outside India.
These products are generally collected and shipped as part of a batch. The final cost of bringing that batch to India depends on its overall shipment details.
For this reason, it isn’t practical to provide one fixed shipping amount at the time you place your order.
Instead, we collect the product payment first and calculate the applicable shipping-related amount later.
This allows us to calculate the shipping cost closer to the actual shipment rather than using an estimated amount.
What Does the Later Payment Cover?
Your later shipping payment consists of three main parts:
1. International Shipping
This is the cost of transporting your product as part of the shipment from the supplier/origin country to India.
The amount can vary depending on the shipment and overall batch weight.
2. Applicable Customs
This covers applicable customs-related charges associated with bringing the shipment into India.
Customs can depend on the shipment and applicable regulations.
🇮🇳 3. Domestic Shipping
Once your order has reached India and is ready for delivery, the applicable domestic shipping cost covers sending your order to your delivery address within India.
Why Does the Amount Vary?
The shipping amount is not divided equally among all customers.
A small accessory and a heavy jacket obviously do not require the same share of a shipment’s weight.
The total batch shipping cost is therefore allocated according to each product/order’s applicable share of the chargeable shipment weight.
This means the final amount can vary depending on:
Your product’s applicable shipment weight
The total weight of the batch
International shipping costs
Applicable customs
Domestic delivery costs
Other shipment-related logistics
Because these factors can change between batches, we do not use one fixed shipping price for every pre-order product.
Why Don’t We Add It to the Product Price?
You might wonder why we don’t simply include shipping in the product price.
The reason is that the actual shipping cost is not always known when the product is listed or when your order is placed.
If we added an estimated amount to every product, we could end up charging too much or too little.
By keeping the product payment and shipping payment separate, we can calculate the applicable shipping amount based on the actual batch and shipment.
When Will the Later Payment Be Requested?
Pre-orders generally take 4–8 weeks to move through the sourcing and pre-order process.
When your order reaches the appropriate shipping stage, HyuniStore will contact you regarding the applicable shipping payment.
You will then be informed of the amount to be paid before the order is sent for domestic delivery.
What Happens After the Shipping Payment?
Once the applicable shipping payment has been completed, your order can proceed through the remaining shipping and delivery process.
Please ensure that your delivery address and contact information are correct.
Orders cannot be changed after the shipping payment has been paid.

Why Does HyuniStore Use This System?
This system allows us to offer a much wider range of products through pre-orders without adding an arbitrary shipping amount to every product.
Instead of guessing the shipping cost beforehand, we calculate the applicable amount when the order reaches the shipping stage.
You pay for the product first → your order is processed → the applicable shipping, customs and domestic delivery amount is calculated → you pay the later shipping amount → your order proceeds for delivery.
We believe keeping these costs separate makes the pricing easier to understand while allowing the shipping amount to reflect the actual batch and shipment.
